Scope and Content

City of Lacey Public Safety building schematic design drawings including floor plans, site plan and elevation drawings. Created by Olson Rowe Partnership, 4224 6th Ave SE, Building 5, Lacey. Memorandum from Chief of Police John E. Mansfield to the Mayor (Mark Brown) and all Council Members regarding the proposed police facility. Dated April 10, 1984. The voters had approved $1.25 million for a functional, operational police facility. These plans were reviewed at the City Council meeting on April 12, 1984. A decision was delayed so the City Manager could review the cost estimates in detail. The approval of the schematic design was approved by Council at the April 26, 1984 meeting. The police moved into the building in its final form on September 3, 1985.
