Description

One picture of the KGY transmitting hut. There is a man leaning against the hut with his right arm extended upward so that his hand rests on what appears to be an exterior electric switch. Near to this "switch" is writing on the exterior wall of the hut that says "DANGER 20,000 Volts" and above the window next to the switch is a sign that says "WIRELESS" in large letters. In the background behind the hut is a tower.

KGY, was the first radio station in Thurston County and one of the earliest in Washington state.
