Twenty-four strips containing 106 photos--103 of which show individuals (or a small grouping).
One set (dated 1977 on the back of the photostrips) shows: A) a dark-haired woman in her late 20s-30s in a dressy sweater and, later, a young man (perhaps a high school student) in a plaid shirt with what appears to be a blackboard in the background--one photo (frame #1) interspersed between the two photo subjects appears to show a project (the only legible word is "free") done by one or both of the photo subjects (the same object can also be seen to the right of the photos with the woman)(frames #37-44 and #1-7); B) separate portrait shots of a young man and a young woman--both apparently high school student age--both are wearing jackets, he is wearing a nice casual shirt and she a scarf (frames #28-37); and C) a young woman, probably high school age, in a nice casual plaid blouse or dress (frames #3-37) with frame #33 of this set being out of focus.
A second set of photos (dated 10-30-74 on the photostrip's back) shows portrait shots of three different persons: a short-haired woman in a polka dot blouse/dress with a light colored collar, a man wearing wire-rimmed glasses in a coat and tie, and a long-haired woman in a casual blouse (frames #32-42). All three appear to be in their thirties or forties.
A third set of photos (dated 10-23-74 on the photostrips) showing: A) a man in his late 20s-30s wearing a denim type coat and, in other pictures, a woman of similar age in a blouse and sweater--she wears a name tag reading "Mary Ann Shaffer" (frames #32-39); B) a woman in her twenties/early thirties smoking with a "no smoking" sign visible in the background (frames #27-28); C) a man, probably in his twenties, wearing wire rimmed glasses and a lightly vertically striped shirt (frames #29-31); D) a man in his thirties to forties, talking on the phone, dressed in a shirt, tie and coat (frames #36-39); E) a man in his late forties to early sixties, wearing a paisley tie and plaid jacket (frames #41-44); F) a woman in her forties to fifties, wearing a plaid jacket and turtleneck, standing in front of a clothing rack (in a clothing store?) (frames #4-7); and G) a man in a coat and tie with a name badge that says " Kent Richards, Central Washington State College" (frames #13-14) (frame #12 is out of focus).
The fourth set of photos have no dates on the back of the photostrips. These include: A) a set of two pictures each of four high school aged boys followed by three pictures of a Boy Scout of late middle school-early high school age from the Tumwater Council displaying on his shirt the badges he has earned followed by one picture of five middle-aged men in coat and tie preparing to hand out certificates (possibly Scout certificates) in an office (the last name of Johnson can be seen in a plaque on the desk)(frames 13-24); B) six pictures of two women in their late twenties-thirties wearing turtlenecks and quilted floral aprons and nametags--one (Nancy) is holding a bouquet and the other (Amy) is admiring it (frames #30-35); C) four pictures of Norm Todd--the store manager of the Ernst hardware store in the area followed by three pictures of a man in his forties to fifties inside a retail store (frames #6-12); D) four pictures of an early high school aged Boy Scout, from the Tumwater Council - Tillicum Lodge 392, displaying his badges earned (frames #42-44, #1); E) three pictures of a middle school aged boy in a striped shirt (frames #19-21); and F) three pictures of an older man (60s-80s) wearing glasses, a dark plaid shirt and a bolo tie with what appears to be a Native American icon clasp (frames #44,1-2).Context
