Lacey Burger Bar Records include: Restaurant menu, Chamber of Commerce Membership Certificate, a photocopy of the menu with a picture of Maxine Sheffler on it and an article from a newsletter about The Lacey Burger Bar.

Context

The Lacey Burger Bar was a popular restaurant in Lacey, Washington between the years 1953-1962. It was frequented by The Washington State Patrol and popular amongst local families. It was open 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. every day expect for Sundays. These records were donated by the Maxine Sheffler's daughter, Pam Sheffler McAferty. Maxine Sheffler was the owner and main cook of The Lacey Burger Bar. The location of the actual restaurant was owned by a man named Bernie Scroggins but was leased by Maxine.
