Thirteen photo strips containing 58 photos.
One strip (#43-44,#1-2)contains two facial photos each of two boys of middle school/early high school age; one is wearing horn rimmed glasses.
Based on the frame numbers and clothing, the following photo strips may have been shot at the same time or sequentially: Two strips (#16-22) have seven photos, three of one man and four of another, shot around Christmas time (tree in background) in the lobby of a building with a nearly entirely windowed front. One strip (#23-27) shows a man with longer hair and Fu Manchu mustache, in a buttoned collared shirt and sport jacket. Two more strips (#28-34) have seven photos of a young woman (20s-early 30s) and a taller man (30s-40s?).
Two photo strips (#26-37), taken mid-morning, of a married over-40 woman wearing glasses, a short sleeve blouse topped by a checkered vest and a medallion. She's apparently in the rec room/lower level of a home; the pictures show her alone, petting her dog and putting together a jigsaw puzzle.
One photo strip (#2-5) of a 30-45 year old woman, wearing glasses and a sweater blouse with small flowers on it.
One photo strip (#32-35) shot a Leed's Shoes store, probably at the South Sound Center. The pictures show two female employees/owners (?) of the store and a man with his son.
Two strips (#2-5, #22-27) almost certainly shot at the same time (even though the frame numbers don't align, the photo backgrounds do). The first three pictures are of Tom Mackin, the then-President of the Capitalarians, the sponsors of Lakefair. The next (#5 and #22-26) pictures are of a young woman under a tree holding a Lakefair "Patron" button and wearing one on her vest. The final picture (#27) is of an older man in coat and tie.
The last strip (#15-20) is two pictures each of three high school cheerleaders peeking out from behind a tree very near a building (its overhang and pillar show in the background).Context
Lakefair has a long history in Thurston County as a civic celebration. Leeds Store was probably in the South Sound Center--an early commercial base for Lacey.Made/Created
