Description

A metal breast drill with a ratcheting bit attachment and a hand crank. The breast brace is broken, with a chunk missing. The ratcheting mechanism appears to read “MILLERS FALLS / MASS / 1909 JULY 29 / MILLERS FALLS / 20 LB”, but it is quite faded and difficult to read, so this may not be entirely correct. The item is somewhat dirty and rusty, but all mechanisms turn smoothly. The handle is a dark wood, with a metal end cap and brass collar where it is held in place.
