Description

Eight pictures. Frame #9 shows a sign put up on two upright tree logs reading "Private, Evergreen Shore Beach Club, For use of Lot Owners and Guests only"; in the background is a muddy/rocky beach, a plank connecting from the dry land to a boating wharf (some of which has rails, one upright of which has a "bumper" tire on it, and all of which has a decorative flag banner overhead), next to which is a boat--and across Black Lake one can see fir trees and a couple of buildings on the far waterfront. Frame #10 shows the same boating wharf from a different angle--out near the deeper water end of it where the "bumper" tire is. Frames # 5 & #6 show still other angles of the boat wharf and Black Lake--Frame #5 is taken from outside the unpaved parking area (surrounded by parking log bumpers) and Frame #6 is taken from on the beach (with a Sprite bottle in the foreground). Frames #7 & #8 appear to have been taken from the area around Black Lake that is further away from the parking lot/wharf area--they just show the undeveloped shore area (mud, weeds, etc.). Frame #11 shows an open park space (grass field), parking lot, and a clubhouse with a fenced area outside it that appears to have a pool slide. Frame #12 was taken just outside that fenced area and clear shows a pool, summer chairs, a table with an umbrella and, next to the clubhouse, a bag of charcoal.

Context

Evergreen Shores Beach Club is an early HOA established in the early 1970s. MacPherson Realty was the primary seller of lots in the HOA and may have been the developer (or associated with the developers).
