Description

East Fourth Avenue, downtown Olympia, c. 1907 features a street scene with buildings, horse-drawn buggies and electric poles. Black and white negative created from a slide of Page 3 of "Olympia," an Olympia Chamber of Commerce promotional brochure or booklet. Negative is frame #30 on a strip of four. Image includes a title below, "East Fourth Street" and a thin line frame aroud it. Words from the book page can be seen around the outside frame of the image. Image is poor quality since it came from a book. Printed on the top edge of the negative is: KODAK SAFETY FILM 5060. The frame number is printed at the bottom. "001" is written directly on the bottom of the negative. Original booklet belonged to Shanna Stevenson (in 1990). Marge Russell's name is written in ink on the front.
