Description

Three houses demonstrate "Residential Advantages" of Olympia. Black and white negative probably created from a slide of a photo in "Olympia," a circa 1907 Olympia Chamber of Commerce promotional brochure or booklet. Three separate images with a thin line frame, each featuring a house. There is a decorative element in a rectangular shape below the middle image. Negative is frame #4, fifth on a strip of five. Image has text below, including a paragraph titled "Residential Advantages" but it is cut off from cropping. Image is poor quality since it came from a book. From the viewer's point of view, the frame number "4" is printed at the bottom and printed at the top is "[5]060 KODAK SA[FETY FILM". "034" is written directly on the negative at the bottom. Booklet belonged to Shanna Stevenson (in 1990). Marge Russell's name is written in ink on the front.
