Description

Des Chutes River. Black and white negative probably created from a slide of a photo in "Olympia," a circa 1907 Olympia Chamber of Commerce promotional brochure or booklet. Pictured is a landscape image of a river showing the banks and trees. The title is below the image, "Des Chutes River" with a thin line are around the image. The remnants of text can be seen at the top and bottom. Image is poor quality since it came from a book. Negative is frame #25, fifth on a strip of five. The frame number "25" is printed at the top and printed at the bottom is "[KODAK] SAFETY FILM 5060". "044" is written directly at the top of the negative. Original booklet belonged to Shanna Stevenson (in 1990). Marge Russell's name is written in ink on the front.
