Description

Interior of KGY Radio Station, in the Rockwell Leland Building on Washington & State, Olympia. Black and white negative created from a print in an album. Pictured is a room with an unidentified man sitting at a desk. There are two turntables on either side of him with lamps above, a microphone and broadcasting equipment. At left is a wall panel with a clock and dials. Next to that are plug-in stations and above that cords that would be used to connect lines. In the background is a mirrored window where a faint reflection of the man in the studio can be seen. Negative is frame #20A, fourth on a strip of five. The frame number "20A" is printed at the center (as well as "1" and "8" at right) and printed at the top is "KODA[K SAFETY] FILM 5062". "057" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative.
