Howard's Tank and Tummy Station. Color photographic print is a copy made from a scan of an original print. Image features a probably concrete building that has a cafe on the left side and a service station on the right. There is a door at left with the word "Cafe" painted above it and "Home of the Famous Jo Burger" above that and a 3-step concrete entrance. Near the center of the building is another door. Both doors have striped awnings over them. There are five windows on the front and one on the side each with striped awnings over them. Above the center door is painted "Howard's Tank and Tummy Station". Although cut off in this picture, it appears that this is also painted on the left side of the building. At the right are two automobile bays; over the left is painted "Repairing" and over the right is "Lubrication" and over both is "Complete Auto Service." At the far right of the builiding is a door and window. Stacks of tires and an A-board sign are out front. A man stands in front of the door. There appears to be a sign hanging off the far right end of the building, but the sign is not readable. There is a light blue car parked out front that appears to be an early 1950s style of car. There is another similar car partked at the far right. In the background is a forested area and in the foreground is Martin Way.
On the back is printed: "990101502_0.JPG J AUX 990101502 007 N N N N---".
The donor copied this from a print that was hanging inside the cafe.Made/Created
