Description

Saint Martin's College Band. Black and white negative. Image features 18 boys or men, each holding an instrument. Instruments pictured include flutes, clarinets, trumpets, baritones, trombones, saxophones, and tubas. The man in the center appears to be clergy (judging by the white collar) and is likely the instructor. The boys are all wearing dark suits. There is a large drum in front of the instructor that reads "St. Martin's College Band with an SMC monogram in the center. It appears that the image behind them is a painted backdrop. The image seems faded or over exposed. Negative is frame #32, fifth on a strip of five. With the image oriented for the viewer, the frame number "32" is printed at the bottom and at left "31A" and printed at the top is "KODAK SAFETY FILM 5[062]". "066" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative.
