N067-1Description
Saint Martin's Glee Club, 1917. Black and white negative. Image features 21 men in mostly dark suits. The man in the back row center appears to be a monk, judging by his robe. Two of the men are holding a giant triangular pennant that stretches across five men in the front row. It reads "U D 17" and "St. Martin's Glee Club." Presumably, the "17" is short for the year 1917, which is consistent with the clothing. They are standing on the steps of a wooden frame building with columns on either side.
Negative is frame #15, first on a strip of four. With the image oriented for the viewer, the frame number "15" is printed at the bottom left and at the right "15A". There is no other printing on the strip. "067" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative.Made/Created
