Description

Governor Langlie and Sam Crawford, December 8, 1941. Black and white negative of a print features the two men in a room sitting with a microphone between them on a table. In the back is a piece of equipment, possibly a speaker with a piece of paper attached. A light colored wall and window with blinds is behind them. Sam Crawford, the first state radio's newsman, was interviewing Governor Langlie the day after Pearl Harbor on the statewide news network. Negative is frame #20A, last on a strip of six. With the image oriented for the viewer, the frame number "20A" is printed upside down at the top. "071" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative. On another part of the strip is printed: "Kodak Safety Film" and "Kodak Panatomic X Film."
