Pacific Avenue Street Scene, approximately late 1960s in Lacey. Black and white negative taken from a print features a busy Lacey street scene. There are numerous telephone poles, electrical wires, billboards and automobiles throughout the scene. According to the catalog card, this scene is looking east and is probably taken from the railroad trestle at the west city limits. The road curves around to the left and has two lanes in each direction. The most prominent billboard at the right reads: "Thank you for recycling 100,000,000 Lucky labeled containers. Keep buying Lucky fine beer." Other signs include one for "Standard" "Olympia Mobile Homes" "All...Eat... 11:30" "Income Tax" "Realty" "Shell" and "[Mar]ket Square." Some trees are visible in the background at in the foreground at right. Negative is frame #18A, fourth on a strip of six. With the image oriented for the viewer, the frame number "18A" is printed at the top, and "19" at top left. "073" is handwritten directly onto the right bottom edge the negative. Also printed on the strip is: and "Kodak Panatomic X Film." "Kodak Safety Film" is printed on another part of the strip.
