Description

Louise Shaw, Rose Smith, Henrietta Robarts and Emma Neihaus, possibly c. 1890s. The women are seated in what appears to be a parlor, with a table at right and a Christmas tree behind them. There is a piano at far right. Rose appears to be in a rocking chair. The edges of the original photograph are visible with the wood frame of the copy stand behind. It's possible that this is the interior of the Smith home on the Hawk DLC. Negative is frame number 10A, fifth on a strip of six. The frame number "10A" is printed at the right. "081" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative. Printed on another part of the strip is: "Kodak Panatomic X Film" and "Kodak Safety Film". Negative is made from an original 2 x 4 print.
