Description

Haying on Fleetwood farm. Black and white negative. Image features a wagon piled high and overflowing with hay with another hay pile in front. A man stands on top of the wagon haystack holding what is probably a pitchfork. Two men stand on either side of the haystack in front, also appearing to hold pitchfork. A boy sits on top of the hay pile. Two horses appear to be hooked up to the wagon, although only the tail end of them can be seen. The image is obscured at right by tape on the negative itself. The tape has caused a crease which is evidence by the light arced lined at right. According to the subject card the picture is of the Fleetwood farm. Negative is frame #38, fourth on a strip of four. The frame number "38" is printed at the bottom (as well as "38A" to the right of that. "095" is handwritten directly onto the bottom of the negative.
