Description

Mr. Fleetwood, Fleetwood Farm, Lacey. Black and white negative made from an original 3 x 5 print. Negative has darkened so badly (shows in the positive as light/overexposed) that there is hardly anything recognizable left in the image unless edited. Mr. Fleetwood (father of Edith Fleetwood Myers) sits atop a tractor that is hooked up to a piece of farming equipment. He is wearing a long-sleeved shirt, suspenders and a cap. A shed is visible in the background. There are many tall trees another outbuilding in the distance. The farm was located east of Carpenter Road on Pacific Avenue. It is the present-day site of Woodland Creek Community Park. Negative is second on a strip of three images, frame number 8A. Printed at the bottom is frame number "8A" and to the right "9." "103" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative. At the top is printed: "Kodak [Safety Fi]lm 5062."
