Description

Union Lumber Company at Union Mills about 1910 or 1911. Black and white negative made from an original 3 x 5 postcard. Negative has darkened (appears light in positive) significantly. Image is taken from some height, possibly from the roof of another building. It shows a large three-story building with a sign "Union Lumber Co." on the roof at left. In front of this building is a smaller building under construction. Piles of logs are strewn haphazardly on the ground at right. In the foreground appears to be the roof of the building from which the picture is taken. There are many tall pine trees in the background. Negative is third on a strip of three images, frame number 9A. Printed at the bottom is frame number "9A" and to the right "10." "104" is handwritten directly onto the bottom edge of the negative. At the top is printed: "[Kodak] Safety Film 5062."
