Description

Becky and David Chamberlain playing in their playhouse about 1961. Color scanned image taken from a slide. The photograph, taken by Robert Chamberlain, was taken from the side of 1720 Cedar (now Gemini). It shows the kids playing in a playhouse their dad built for them with gray siding, a real door and a roof. Becky, laughing, is leaning out the front window in a red hooded sweater with the hood up. David is tucked behind her with his head just visible behind her. Donor David Chamberlain points out that the wooded buffer between the yard and Ruddell Road served as a play area that they referred to as "the woods."
