Description

David and Becky Chamberlain swinging, about 1962. Color image scanned from a slide. The photograph, taken by donor's father, Bob Chamberlain, was taken in the backyard of 1740 Cedar (now Gemini). Becky is in the close swing and David is in the back. They are both bundled up in warm red coats and wearing blue pants. The swing set is red and blue metal with two regular swings and one dual swing (not in use). The fence can be seen behind and another swing set in the neighbor's yard. A wooded area is to the right. According to donor David Chamberlain, the swing set was installed by their grandfather Richard Weideman in the southwest corner of the yard. It was used throughout their years in this house. He noted that the woods, at right, were used as a passage to get to the neighbor's yard.
