Description

Chamberlain House at 1720 Cedar Street, 1970. Color scanned image taken from a slide. The photograph, taken by Robert Chamberlain, was taken while standing on Cedar Street (now Gemini Street) facing the south. There are many tall trees behind the house and one tall lone cedar in the front yard. The one-story ranch house has brick trim and a two-car garage. A flowering red rhododenron bush can be seen in front of the house. A mailbox stands in the front yard and a quince at right. David Chamberlain and his family (parents and two siblings) lived in this house from May 1960 through September 1970. David believes that this photograph was taken shortly before they moved out due to the size of the foliage and improvements made to the house.
