Description

Vote Schools, 1975. Black and white contact print strips of seven images (one strip of four frames and one strip of three frames) originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were captured on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Sleater-Kinney Road in Lacey, Washington. In the photos there is a man dressed in a dark suit with a black jacket on, standing on a street corner holding a sign that reads "Kids need us Vote schools. Levi (check mark) Bonds (check mark) Tues. Feb. 4." In frame 40 you are able to tell that the buildings behind him read "Tri-City Meat Co." and "Arco."
