Miscellaneous Lacey Area Photographs, 1978. Black and white negative strips of 32 images (four strips of five frames, one strip of four frames, two strips of three frames and one strip of two frames) origninally taken for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images were created using four separate film rolls, so some of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated. For the purposes of this description, these strips will be grouped according to the film roll from which they originally came. Each group will be assigned a lower-case letter to go along with the physical numbers on the strips (ex: 1a, 2a, 3a, 1b, 2b, 3b, etc.) to help differentiate between images.
The images in group "a" show exterior shots of what appears to be a grocery store and what appears to be a school. Frames 3a-5a show a building with a concave roof and many large windows on the front. This appears to be a grocery store. Image 11a shows what appears to be a house partially obscured by trees and brush. Images 12a-20a show different angles on the exterior of a large building which appears to be all single story. This building appears to be a school.
The images in group "b" show cars passing through a busy intersection. Images 7b through 14b show different angles on the cars passing through the intersection.
The images in group "c" show a backhoe working in a cleared area, and cars passing on a city street. Images 11c and 12c show the backhoe in what appears ot be a freshly-cleared area amongst tall trees. Images 14c through 17c show cars driving past on a street. A Goodyear building and sign are visible in the background.
The images in group "d" show traffic and raod construction scenes. Frames 29d-31d show traffic moving in a construction zone with a detour set up. Frames 32d and 33d show the cones and "detour" sign set up.Made/Created
