Description

Sleater-Kinney I-5 Exit, 1973. Black and white negative strips of seven photographs (one strip of four frames and one strip of three frames) originally taken for the Lacey Leader newspaper. In the strip containing frames 1,43 and 44: these photos are all of a directional sign that shows directions "To Martin Way, To Thurston County High School, St Martins, State Patrol, Hospital." All three frames show the sign at different angles. In the strip containing frames 2-5: Frame number 2 shows the sign from the previous strip and two buildings behind the sign that appear to be small homes. Frame 3 shows a sign that points left for "Sleater-Kinney Rd" and right for "So. Sound blvd." behind the sign is a semi truck on a road. In frame 4 you can see a road with signs on either side, and small homes in the background. Frame 5 is a photo of a man standing in what appears to be a boat, with fish in a bag on a seat in front of him.
