Lacey Library, 1973. Black and white negative strip of six images originally taken for the Lacey Leader newspaper. In these images we see high school students from North Thurston High School gathered around for a story time at the Lacey LIbrary which was located at the Lacey Village Shopping Center. Ken Balsley said this was a children's book reading. It appears to be two different groups of students that came out for the reading.
In frames 39 and 40 we see high school students standing up dressed in costumes and talking. In frames 41-44 we see younger students seated on the floor. In frame 44 they are drinking out of cups and a woman stands in the middle of them pouring a drink into cups from a pitcher.Made/Created
