Olympia Aiport Dedication circa 1973. Black and white strips of 19 images (three strips of five, and one strip of four) originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images are of the Olympia Airport dedicatin in October of 1973. In frame 21 we see a man wearing a light suit, a light shirt, and a striped tie. He is smiling and has dark hair. Frame 22 shows a man standing at a podium that is sitting on top of a table. Leaning against the table are four shovels. Behind the man is the back end of a plane. Frame 23 shows a large group of people standing in front a man standing at the podium. Next to the crowd is a building. Frame 24 shows a closer view of th eman speaking at the podium. He is wearing a light colored suit jacket, dark pants, a light shirt and a dark tie. There are white hard hats on the table and four shovels leaning against the table. The man is also wearing dark glasses. Frame 25 shows another man, in a striped suit jacket, dark pants and light shirt, standing at the podum. A plane is behind him with "N72640" on the side of it. Frame 26 is of another man standing at the podium. He is wearing a dark colored suit jacket, a light shirt and a tie. Frame 27 is of another man standing at the podium. He is wearing a dark suit jacket, a light shirt, and a tie. He is also wearing dark glasses. Frame 28 is of another man standing at the podium. He is wearing a light colored shirt and a tie and wearing dark glasses. Frame 29 shows another man standing at the podium in a light suit, with a light shirt and tie on. He is wearing glasses. Frames 30-39 show four men wearing hard hats and digging into the ground with the shovels in front of the podium. In frames 30 and 31 a crowd is visible behind them.
