Lacey Timberland Library Workers Preparing for Opening, early 1991Entry/Object ID
TIN-0049.96CDescription
Workers in the Lacey Timberland Library breakroom, early 1991, sometime before the March 23rd grand opening. The color photographic print features a view of the breakroom facing what appears to the north side of the building. Two men and two women are taking a break from the work of putting the library together for the opening. A woman dressed in light colored denim sits with a mug in her hand at left. Another woman (who still works at the library as of 2016) stands center wearing a white jacket, striped shirt and black pants; she appears to be holding a paper towel. Two men chat at right. One is in jeans and a blue shirt; the other in darker jeans and a plaid shirt over a red shirt with faces on it. A part of the backside of Lacey City Hall can be seen through the window. There are kitchen style cupboards behind them and stacks of supplies and boxes on the floor.
