Description

Fire Fighters in action circa 1977. Black and white strip of two frames originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. In these photographs we see fire fighters giving a demonstration of things they do on the job. In frame 23 there are two fire fighters with their back to the camera. They are in a uniform and have a helmet on. They are standing in front of a vehicle that appears to have been crushed. In frame 24 we see someone leaning into the front passenger door of a car. The person appears to be a fire fighter and is reaching for someone in the drivers seat.

Notes

03-26-2016 While the envelopes containing C 109 N and C 109 P do not specify that they are from the 1977 fire recognition day, the photographs match those that are in the fire recognition day envelopes and we believe they were originally all from the same event. kap
