Description

Russell House on Chambers Lake, c. 1910. Brown-toned 5" x 7" photographic print mounted on 8.75" x 10.75" dark brown card. View is probably facing east and the two-story house is situated on a small hill. There is a wraparound porch with slender columns and vertical detailing on the eave and porch. There are two chimneys and a small gable extends forward at right supported by two columns. There are two small trees or bushes in front yard. At left a small water tower is visible in the background. The edges of the image soften into a 1/4" wide border all around. The print is adhered onto mat board. The edges of the board are rounded. Written on the back in pencil: "Chambers Lake - #669" This house is located at the current address of 3601 18th Avenue SE in Olympia. It is situated very near the Lacey border just to the northwest of Chambers Lake.
