Lacey Bank,1980. Black and white negative strips of 14 images (one strip of six frames, one strip of five frames, and one strip of three frames) originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper.
Frame 44 shows a cake on top of a wooden table. The cake reads "Happy 1st Anniversary Lacey Bank" There are flowers on the top left corner and bottom right corner on the cake. Frames 1-4 show a man with dark hair (Doug Prull) in a dark suit, light shirt, and striped tie. He is standing in front of the cake In frame 1 he appears to be correcting his tie with his right hand. In frames 2-4 his arms are down by his sides and he is smiling. Frame 5 shows at least seven women that appear to be bank tellers. Three women are seated in tall chairs at a counter. Two women are walking close to each other behind the seated women. There are also women seated opposite the tellers, possibly working the drive thru window. Frame 6 shows a woman in what appears to be a dress, and a blazer and has dark hair. She is leaning over the table cutting the cake with a large knife. Frame 7 shows two men both with dark hair and in dark suits. Both men also have light shirts on and ties.They are standing next to each other talking and are both looking to the left of the photo. The man on the left is Doug Prull, and the man on the right is Ken Balsley. The taller man on the left of the image is Doug Prull, President of the bank. Frame 8 shows a woman behind a desk in dark pants and a light colored jacket. She is handing something to another woman who is wearing dark pants and a floral top. Behind that woman are two more women who are holding what appears to be a plate and talking. Behind them is a filing cabinet with a potted plant on top. To the left of the filing cabinet are wooden cabinets. Frames 9 and 10 show two men standing next to each other talking. Both men have dark hair, are wearing dark suits, light shirts and ties. The man on the left of the photo (Doug Prull) is taller and you are able to see his face, the man on the right (Ed Bagley) is looking at him, so the back of his head is toward the camera. Frame 11 shows these same two men but they have switched sides. Frame 12 shows construction of a room. There is wood laying on the floor and someone is on top of a ladder holding something up to the top of a door way. There is a bucket and wooden benches set up around the floor and a large pile of wood on the floor. frame 13 shows a sign with an "LB" logo and under it and it reads "Lacey Bank."Made/Created
