Description

Don and Judy Bason pose for the Lacey Leader. Black and white negative strip of three images originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. According to the envelope containing the negatives, the people in the photograph are Don and Judy Bason. The three images show a man on the right and a woman on the left. The woman is wearing a dark short sleeved shirt with buttons that go up the front. She has dark shoulder length hair. One of her arms is propped up on the counter in front of her, and the other appears to be at her side. The man is wearing a light-colored long-sleeved sweater and has a dark collared shirt under it, with the collar sticking out. He is standing with one arm around the woman and the other resting on the counter in front of him. He has short dark hair and a dark mustache. Both are smiling at the camera. Next to them, on the counter, is an old scuba diving helmet. It is very large and circular. There is a small window on the front that appears to have wires across it. Behind the people in the photo, hanging on the wall, appears to be a life preserver. Above that on the wall is also a large net. In the background on the right side of the photo is also what appears to be a television or monitor mounted on the wall. In front of them on the counter appear to be two books, as well as a telephone. One of the books is titled "Diving for Fun" by Joe Strykowski.
