Mayor Albert Van Andel circa 1973. Black and white negative strips of four images (one strip of three and one separate frame) originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. In all four frames there are three people standing near each other and appear to be talking. There are two men and one woman. The woman is wearing a light short sleeved turtle neck top. She has dark hair that appears to be pulled back behind her in a bun. She is wearing wing tipped glasses, and large ear rings. The man in the middle (Mayor Van Andel) is wearing a dark suit, a light collared shirt and a dark tie with polka dots on it. He is bald, has a mustache, and is wearing dark framed glasses. The man on the right side is bald, wearing thick framed dark glasses, and is holding what appears to be a plaque in his hand. He is wearing a dark suit, a light collared shirt and a dark tie with diamond shapes on it. Behind them is a light colored wall and a picture hanging. It is unclear what the hanging picture is of.
Albert Van Andel was the mayor of Lacey for a short time in either 1973 or 1974. He was a resident of Panorama City and a retired minister.Made/Created
