Description

Jo Garceau circa 1973. Black and white negative strips of seven images (one strip of four frames and one strip of three frames) originally created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. According to the envelope containing the negatives the woman in the photographs is Jo Garceau. In all seven frames a woman is sitting at a desk. She has shoulder length dark curly hair. She is wearing a dark turtle neck sweater with a dark suit jacket over it. She has a long necklace on top of the turtle neck. She is wearing large glasses and a wrist watch is also visible on her wrist. In front of her is a desk. On the desk are large light colored folders. The one closest to the camera appears to be held down with a rock. There are several other folders on the desk, a bowl, a stapler and other items. On a shelf near the desk are items lined up and also a framed photograph. Behind the woman is a telephone on the desk, and a framed photo is hanging up on the wall.
