Description

Angie Darling, 1975. These four black and white film negative strips was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Three of the strips holds five images each (images 41-1, 2-6, 7-11, and 12-14), and one strip holds three images (images 12-14). All of the strips show a female child (Angie Darling) sitting at a table with trophies and a baton, and the same child performing with the baton. Angie Darling was a state champion baton twirler. Ken Balsley noted that Dorian Smith, a Lacey Leader employee, wrote the story which these images went along with.
