Description

Don Thompson, 1972. This contact print strip bearing five images was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. This contact print strip does not have any physical numbers printed on it, as they have been cut off. For the purposes of this description, the images will carry the number of their corresponding film negative image (see 2007-012.G126N). The images show Don Thompson seated at a desk in a suit and tie speaking on the telephone. Image 28 shows Mr. Thompson looking down toward the desk. He is wearing glasses and holding a pen. Image 29 shows Mr. Thompson looking directly at the camera. He is still wearing glasses. Image 30 shows Mr. Thompson facing toward his right. He is not longer wearing glasses. Image 31 shows Mr. Thompson in an almost identical pose as in image 30, but his head is turned slightly more toward hsi right and the phone handset is covering more of his face. He is also holding a pen. Image 32 shows Mr. Thompson in almost the same pose as in imafe 31, but he is no longer holding then pen. Don Thompson was the owner of Lacey Realty and one of the founders of the Lacey Music Festival, which later became the MAD Festival.
