Los Hermanos, 1975. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. One strip bears two images (images 31-32) and one strip bears five images (images 33-37). The images on both strips show two men, one with a beard ("Dirty" Dave Wilson) and the other with glasses, seated at a table in a restaurant (Los Hermanos). There is a third man seated at a different table behind and to the left of the previously mentioned men. This third man is facing away from the camera.
"Dirty" Dave Wilson was the owner of Dirty Dave's Pizza Parlor in Lacey, Washington, and co-owner of Los Hermanos, the restaurant shown in these images. Ken Balsley stated that the man sitting with Mr. Wilson in the images was the other co-owner of Los Hermanos but could not remember the man's name. Mr. Wilson and the other co-owner of Los Hermanos also co-owned a fast-food Mexican restaurant called Billy Burrito's. Mr. Balsley stated that the two men eventually ended their business partnership, with Mr. Wilson taking full control of Los Hermanos while the second man took over Billy Burrito's. The Los Hermanos restaurant was located in what is, as of October 2016, the Mayan restaurant northwest of the intersection of College Street and Pacific Avenue in Lacey, Washington.Made/Created
