Unidentified people, unknown dates. These twenty film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Three of the strips bear six images, sixteen of the strips bear five images, and one strip bears one image. In light of the large number of negatives in this sleeve, many of which bear the same physical number, these negatives will be divided and categorized by their subject matter, and each category within this sleeve will use its own discrete series of numbers.
Seven of these strips show the preparation and flight of a hot air balloon and a hang glider. The images within this category include images 2a-16a, 24a-44a, and 1a.
Four of these film negative strips show what appears to be an awards or induction ceremony. The images within this category include images 4b-24b.
Two of these film negative strips show a celebration event for the Lacey Police Sirens, which appears to have been a youth football team. The images in this category include images 5c-14c.
Three of these film negative strips show a man driving an amphibious car, a man in a Washington National Guard uniform, and five men posing for a photo. The images in this category included images 13d-32d.
One of these film negative strips shows a bearded man in an office speaking on a telephone. The images in this category include images 5e-10e.
One of these film negative strips shows four men participating in what appears to be a drinking contest or ritual. One man and one woman are officiating. The images in this series include images 40f-44f.
