Intercity transit, unknown date. These two film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. One of these strips bears five images (images 35-39) and one of these strips bears two images (images 40-41). All of these images show people getting onto the bus or the bus driver sitting in the driver's seat. These images were captured at South Sound Center.
Ken Balsley stated that these images likely show the first bus coming to Lacey following the formation of Intercity Transit, a mass transportation body which serves Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater and Yelm.Made/Created
