MAD Princesses, 1979. These four film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Each of the four strips hold five images each (images 44-4, 5-9, 10-14, and 39-43). All of these images show either individual young women or a group picture of nine of the young women. All are wearing matching dresses and sashes, although the text on the sashes varies from woman to woman.
The first MAD pageant was held in 1974. At the time, the winner became Ms. Thurston County.Made/Created
