Description

Rexus Driving School, 1973. This film negative strip bearing four images (images 15-18) was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a man (Frank Rexus) in a sweater posing next to a Dodge automobile of unknown model. The car has a sign sitting on the rear bumper which reads "STUDENT DRIVER, Rexus Driving School, 5804 Pacific Ave., Lacey, 352-7147." There is a brick building in the background (the Lacey Leader offices). Frank Rexus was the owner of Rexus Driving School, located at 5804 Pacific Avenue in Lacey, Washington. Mr. Rexus also worked as a special education teacher at Washington Junior High and driver's education at Timberline High School, Olympia High School and one of the Washington State juvenile institutions.
