Description

The Old Rustic Inn demolition. The photos are 4" x 5 3/4". These photos are of 5 buildings being destroyed by a hydraulic excavator, and the remains being transported away by truck and trailer. 3 of the buildings are a light salmon color and the 4th is a light yellow color. The 5th is unknown, because it was already in the process of being destroyed. The four buildings are single story, with multiple doors and windows around the exterior. There are two buildings along the main road on Pacific Ave, whereas the other three are roughly 30-50 yards directly behind the other two buildings next to the road. There is a gravel road on both sides of the buildings next to the road that connect together creating a circle between all 5 of the buildings. In the center of the circle is a vacant patch of grass with logs, which may have been used for parking. Behind the three houses furthest away from the road is a tree line. The order of sequence of destruction starts with the back 3 buildings, going from left to right from the direction of the road. The last two buildings on the road were last to be destroyed, going from right to left. The excavator used is a black and yellow Volvo. The trucks and trailers used are a blue and grey Chevrolet with dually's and a grey Dodge truck. The trailer's used are black high wall goose neck trailers made by the company Big Tex. There are various other vehicles that are either driving by or parked nearby. There is a red SUV (.15), black GMC truck (.19, .23, .25) and a green sedan (.23) that can be seen in the photos. Only one person can be seen in some of the photos. (.8, .14, .16, .21) He is wearing blue jeans, blue flannel and a white shirt underneath. The photos have a date stamp in the lower right corner that cover the span of time from 2/18/08 to 2/21/08. On the back of the photos have the lab stamp and maker of the film paper. It reads: "premium processing plus, Fujifilm, Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper." It also has corresponding dates and numbers for each of the photos.
