Basketball, unknown dates. These eleven black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Three different rolls of film were used in the creation of this series of images, so several of the physical numbers on the strips are repeated one or more times. For the purposes of this description, the strips will be divided into groups based on which film roll they came from, and each group will have a lower-case letter (a-c) assigned to it in addition to its physical number (ex: 17a, 17b, 17c, etc.).
The group designated as group "a" consists of four strips with the physical numbers 8-12, 13-17, 18-22 and 30-35. These images show a basketball game between the Saint Martin's College (now University) Saints and the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes.
The group designated as group "b" consists of four film negative strips with the physical numbers 29-33, 34-38, 39-43 and 44-2. These images show a basketball game between the Saint's Martin's College (now University) Saints and a team with Jerseys which say "Alaska" on the front.
The group designated as group "c" consists of three film negative strips with the physical numbers 22-24, 25-29 and 30-34. These images show a girls' basketball game.Made/Created
