Christmas, unknown date. These three black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. All three of the strips hold five images each (images 6-10, 11-15 and 16-20). Image 6 shows a snowman that appears to be made out of tinsel. The entirety of the snowman is visible, Image 7 shows a child sitting on the lap of a man dressed as Santa Claus. The image is oriented horizontally. Image 8 shows the same child sitting on Santa's lap, but the image is oriented vertically. Image 9 shows the snowman made of tinsel again, but the image is zoomed in such a way that the bottom of the snowman is outside of the image frame. Image 10 shows the snowman again, but the image is zoomed out slightly verses image 9. Image 11 again shows the snowman, but the top of its head and its hat are outside of the image frame. Image 12 shows the snowman, but about half of its head and a portion of its left hand is outside the image frame. Image 13 shows the snowman from the chest-up. Image 14 shows a Christmas decoration made of tinsel. It is in the shape of a Christmas tree, but the lower section is a face. Image 15 shows a similar decoration to that of image 14, but instead of a conical top, the top looks like a marching band hat. Image 16 shows a man in a jacket holding a young child wearing a stocking cap. Image 17 shows a frozen lake with people in winter clothing walking on it. Ken Balsley believed the lake to be Chambers Lake. Two of the individuals present are holding bicycles. Image 18 shows a scene very similar to that of image 17, but one of the people with bikes has laid it on the ground. Image 19 appears to show a brightly-lit Christmas tree. A "TEXACO" sign is visible in the lower right corner of the image frame. The image is oriented vertically. Image 20 shows a similar image to that of image 19, but the image is oriented horizontally.
Printed in alternation along edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
