House firem unknown date. These two black and white film negatives were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. One of the strips bears six images (images 11-16) and one strip bears five images (images 17-21). These images show firemen fighting a house fire. Image 11 shows two, or maybe three, firefighters on the roof of a house. There is a tree with no leaves between the camera and the firefighters. Image 12 shows two firefighters sitting on the roof, one laying down on the roof near a hole, and one on a ladder. Image 13 shows the firefighter laying near the hole starting to sit up. Image 14 shows one firefighter standing on the ladder with a hose in his right hand. Three other firefighter are visible on the roof. Image 15 again shows the firefighter on the ladder and three other firefighters on the roof, but the image is oriented horizontally. Image 16 shows three firefighters on the ground, one on the ladder, and two on the roof. Image 17 shows the house with a ladder leaned up against it. There is a tree covering most of the right side of the image. It is unclear what image 18 shows. Image 19 shows a fire truck with one firefighter standing next to it. The firefighter is looking toward the camera. Image 20 shows a similar scene to that of image 19, but the firefighter is looking toward the fire truck. Image 21 shows two firefighters making a hole in the roof of the house.
Printed in alternation along one edge of these strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."Made/Created
