Timberline vs. Yelm Football, 1977. These three black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 14 shows a player for Timberline making a reception as a player from Yelm reaches in to try to knock the ball away. Image 15 shows a jumble of players from both teams. Two referees are between the players and the camera. Image 16 shows players 49 and 36 for North Thurston at the center of the frame. Number 49 is on the ground, and the ball is bouncing away from them to their right. Image 17 shows number 72 for Timberline facing away from the camera and going for a tackle, maybe a sack. Image 18 shows a player from Timberline tackling a player from Yelm. The Yelm player may be the quarterback. Image 19 shows a player for Timberline being tackled from behind by a player from Yelm. Number 54 for Timberline is at the left side of the image. Image 20 shows number 78 for Timberline and one of the referees standing next to two people on the ground. Images 21-32 are not present. Image 33 shows a player from Timberline running the ball. He is fairly close to the camera, and is holding the ball with one hand/arm. Image 34 is very underexposed, and all that can be made out for sure is the score baord, which shows that there is 2:58 left in the quarter. Image 35 shows a jumble of players from both teams. Player 79 for Timberline is near the center of the image and facing away from the camera. Image 36 shows a player for Timberline running the ball toward the right side of the frame.Made/Created
