These eleven film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper and were found together in a folder "Misc. sports, 1977." There are four sets of images that go together. The first series show the Seattle Supersonics basketball team at training camp at the Saint Martin's College (now University) Marcus Pavilion (9a-25a).
The second series shows children playing soccer (18b-38b). According to the teams' jerseys, one team is representing Arctic Circle and the other is representing McKinney's.
The images in the third group show a football game (possibly high school) (20c-24c). Also in this series (25c) is a road sign. The sign reads, from top to bottom, "PACIFIC AVE," "OLYMPIA," "LACEY," "HOSPITAL," and "PANORAMA CITY."
The fourth group shows another children's soccer games, the teams unidentified (27d-30d).
The fifth series shows a basketball game between the Saint Martin's Saints and the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes at Marcus Pavilion (23e-26e).Made/Created
