Misc. land and people, unknown dates. These five black and white oversized negatives were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images have no physical numbers, so numbers will be assigned in the order in which they are described. Image 1 shows a log cabin. Toward the right side of the frame in front of the cabin is a wheelbarrow with a shovel in it, a sawhorse, scraps of wood and lumber and other tools. There is also a box on the ground which reads "KRAFT PIMENTO." Image 2 shows two men and one woman. The man in the center is wearing a religious collar and appears to be the same man in all five images in sleeve 2007-012.B200N. Behind the three people is some foliage and a house. Image 3 shows a large, flat field with trees and houses in the far background (one, partially hidden by a tree, may be a church building). There is one man walking toward the right approximately 50' from the camera, and there are many people walking across the field in the background. These people in the background are arranged in a very rough line. Image 4 shows two men standing behind a plow that is hitched up to a horse. One of the men has his hands on his hips, and the other is holding the horse's reins. There is a log laying in the foreground, and a portion of field surrounded by woods in the background. Image 5 shows three men in suits and ties, and they are all looking at each other. The man in the center and the man on the right are shaking hands. Al three are wearing nametags, but only the man on the right's nametag is visible. It reads "H.P. SMITH, THANKS FOR SHOPPING WOOLWORTH'S." The men appear to be in a department store, likely Woolworth's, and they are standing in front of a drapery ("cafe rods") display and near a shoe/slipper display.
Printed twice along one edge of images 3 and 4 is "KODAK SAFETY FILM."Made/Created
