Description

Unidentified people, unknown dates. These four black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show portraits of seven different men. Image 28 shows a man in a tie and glasses smiling at the camera. He is facing slightly toward the left side of the image. Image 29 is virtually identical to image 28. Image 30 shows the same man, but he is facing slightly toward the right side of the image and he is not smiling. Image 31 shows a man with sideburns and two pens in his shirt pocket looking toward the right side of the image with a stoic look on his face. Image 32 shows the same man either laughing or speaking. Image 33 shows the same man smiling. Image 34 shows a man with glasses and a mustache looking toward the left side of the image. He is not smiling. Image 35 shows the same man smiling. Image 36 shows the same man with his mouth slightly open. He is not smiling. Image 37 shows a man in a tie and a suit jacket speaking. He is facing slightly toward the right side of the image. Image 38 shows the same man, but he is looking directly at the camera with a large smile on his face. Image 39 shows the same man, but he is smiling and facing toward the left side of the image. Image 40 shows a man with a mustache in a tie and suit jacket facing toward the left side of the image. He is not smiling. Image 41 shows the same man smiling and facing slightly toward the right side of the image. Image 42a (there are two images in this sleeve with the physical number 42) shows the same man smiling and looking directly at the camera. Image 43 shows a man with wavy hair and sideburns facing slightly toward the left side of the image. Image 44 is very similar to the previous image, but the man is not speaking. Image 1 shows the same man facing toward the right side of the image. Image 42b shows a young man in a collared shirt with three buttons smiling very slightly and looking toward the camera. Printed in alternation along one edge of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KOADK TRI X PAN FILM."
